In March 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. went to Memphis, Tennessee.
He went there to support sanitation workers who were on strike.
They were protesting peacefully for better treatment and fair pay.
At that time, King was receiving many threats to his life.
Sadly, the threats became real.
Martin Luther King Jr. was killed in Memphis on April 4, 1968.
