What might the advertisement be referring to?
It appears to be playing on concerns about a U.S. Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and government financial surveillance.
But the current federal policy actually points in the opposite direction. In January 2025, President Trump issued Executive Order 14178 prohibiting federal agencies, except where required by law, from taking action to establish, issue, or promote a U.S. CBDC and ordering ongoing federal CBDC initiatives terminated.
The White House's July 2025 digital-assets recommendations went further, recommending that Congress pass legislation to codify the CBDC prohibition, specifically citing privacy and civil-liberties concerns.
There was another change involving electronic payments that could easily be confused with this. The federal government moved away from most paper checks for federal payments beginning September 30, 2025, favoring direct deposit and other electronic payment methods. But the executive order explicitly states that this change is not the establishment of a CBDC.
What about the government freezing your bank account?
Government authorities already have certain powers under existing laws to freeze/block particular assets—for example, in sanctions cases and other legally authorized circumstances. That's very different from a new nationwide power allowing the government to arbitrarily freeze everyone's ordinary checking or savings accounts. Treasury's sanctions system, for example, can require financial institutions to block assets belonging to specifically designated persons or entities.
I found no credible evidence of a new rule scheduled to take effect “in a few short months” that would give the U.S. government unprecedented authority to monitor every transaction or arbitrarily freeze Americans' ordinary bank accounts.

Bottom line: I would not treat that statement as news. It's an advertisement using alarming language to get readers to click on a financial promotion. The fact that essentially the same “few months from now” warning was circulating back in 2023 is particularly revealing.
If you send me the article/link where you found it, I can also trace what the advertised “4 steps” lead to and determine exactly what law or proposal Weiss is claiming will happen in a few months.
