 Indict = တရားဝင် စွဲချက်တင်သည် / ရာဇဝတ်မှုဖြင့် တရားစွဲဆိုရန် စွဲချက်တင်သည်

ဥပမာ:

• He was indicted for fraud.
  → သူ့ကို လိမ်လည်မှုဖြင့် တရားဝင် စွဲချက်တင်ခဲ့သည်။
• A grand jury indicted him.
  → Grand jury က သူ့ကို ရာဇဝတ်မှုအတွက် တရားဝင် စွဲချက်တင်ခဲ့သည်။

Indicted ဆိုတာ အပြစ်ရှိကြောင်း ဆုံးဖြတ်ပြီးပြီ လို့ မဆိုလိုပါဘူး။ တရားရုံးမှာ ရာဇဝတ်မှုနဲ့ တရားစွဲဆိုဖို့ တရားဝင် စွဲချက်တင်ထားခြင်း ကို ဆိုလိုတာပါ။
